We were invited back to Mansion in May for our second time in 2014 at the Blairsden Mansion. Our space was the main staircase which we saw as a formal stage yearning for players. We curated an exhibition for this theatrical location using sculpture by Jean Kawecki and paintings by Todd L.W. Doney. This site-specific installation welcomed the viewer with an invitation to ascend through the space and survey its grandeur.
Blairsden holds the record for attendance as well as total monies raised by the Woman’s Association for Morristown Medical Center. Over $2,000,000 was donated to the hospital. With this money the hospital built a new Autism Center and expanded the Children’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Broadfoot & Broadfoot was honored to be number one in sales at the 2014 Mansion in May. We sold out.
