Bedminster Farm’s Curator

We are so excited to be the curator of this incredible project.

The Bedminster Farm Project is a sustainable, luxurious, and organic Farm and residential enclave near Hamilton Farm, Fiddlers Elbow and other great Bedminster lifestyle opportunities.  Providing secure, state of the art, modern and traditional, Agricultural and Equestrian Living. Each “custom designed and built to suit” home boasts a beautiful farm setting managed by the organic farm and grounds staff. Homes are designed and built approaching Net zero energy and environmentally positive for a healthy lifestyle that is again indicative of a “Country Home”. The convenience of world-class golf, tennis and equestrian activities and other field sports is only enhanced with an organic farm to table lifestyle where the owners share in the healthy, organic produce and common amenities such as horse stables, riding trails, hiking and biking trails, and a ability to have a farm to table lifestyle next to world-class golf and tennis. A truly unique oasis in NJ hunt country.

The Orchard House at Bedminster Farms. This home dates back to 1928 and has 6 bedrooms, 5 1/2 baths, 6 fireplaces and stables for 6 horses. My two favorite rooms are the wood paneled library and a suspended nook that we created.

My curation started with taking down this beautiful vintage crystal chandelier from the front foyer and placing it in the wood paneled library. I wanted to open up the front foyer and felt the scale of the chandelier was off. My curation then led to the removal of 19 walls, 8 floors, 5 ceilings and 1 staircase. I also added two large dormers.

I wanted to open the front foyer for more light and give the whole staircase a much more modern feel . We removed all these walls and added this large dormer with a shed roof which created a suspended nook. This chandelier by Hubbardton Forge will be hung above the staircase. This chandelier was chosen for it’s great sculptural quality, it is a statement piece and will be seen from 3 separate locations.

More to come…
